I'm a designer who codes, and a problem-solver who can ask questions.
I create usable, accessible designs, with an understanding of ‘why?' and ‘who for?’.
I'm thankful to have worked with incredibly talented designers, developers, writers, researchers, and project managers all my career and learned from them all - and I'm still learning.
My path here has taken in an Art History degree, a Marketing postgrad, learning to code by hand, a coaching qualification, and a UX bootcamp (they've all come in useful at some point as a designer).
Experience in web and design teams means I'm comfortable with visual design and front-end. That puts me in a lucky position where I speak the language of both, and see how ideas might be carried through from research insight to delivery.
Some I've used for years, others I've only picked up recently. But the right tool can be whatever's simplest, or to hand.
